Sodexo is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer II for an opportunity with Phoenix Children's Hospital located in Phoenix, AZ.

ISE II Position Description:
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate a broad range of basic diagnostic imaging and/or therapeutic radiation equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.
The ISE 2 will possess:
-
2+ years of imaging experience (preferably C-Arm, portable X-Ray..etc.)

1+ years of experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices independently and/or academic training that is comparable
-
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
-
Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
-
Ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices with limited supervision
-
Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
-
Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required
Technical Duties and Responsibilities of ISE 2:

Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools

Knowledge of basic networking theory

Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards

Knowledge of safety precautions when servicing high voltages and working with ionizing radiation

Ability to analyze electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment
-
Ability to isolate, test, and replace defective parts
-
Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections

Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests

Ability to run diagnostic programs

Skills in testing electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment

Skills in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
