The Corporate Account Coordinator responsibility is to establish a partnership with assigned member(s) of the Sales Team to maximize selling time, ensure accurate orders, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction - Ultimately being a strong contributor to the achievement of department and company sales volume goals by engaging with Account Executives on specific corporate accounts.
This role will act as a true extension of the sales team by applying extensive and excellent attention to detail and organization, expertise in sales relations, anticipation of internal and external customer needs as well as comprehensive product knowledge.
The Corporate Account Coordinator is instrumental in assuring focused and productive communication with new and existing clients and manufacturer representatives.
Providing sales and product expertise for account maintenance activity; engaging with Account Executives in support of our customers, offering a seamless transition through the sales process resulting in a better customer experience.
Responding to corporate account bid solicitations, pricing proposals and customer requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Providing front end order support by verifying customer information is current, securing credit application for new customer, generating a quote number and communicating to PC, Design, PM, labor estimator and Account Executive to begin the order process which will allow for tracking of pre order activities, i.e., file naming convention, order package, time entry, etc.
Accumulating order packet by securing CAP, verifying contract and applying discounts, securing labor quote, coordinate paperwork for new vendor and securing a signed customer quote or customer issued purchase order.
Ensuring the quote packet that is submitted to the Project Coordinator is complete and accurate for order conversion, i.e. CAP (in standard format) reflects correct sell and costs per contract, discounting, supported by signed quote or Customer purchase order, all supporting labor quotes and design checklist. All pertinent order information must be provided to the PC for order processing.
Day to day handling all small orders where design is not involved, submitting complete and accurate order packet to the Project Coordinator as above.

Fielding all questions regarding quote/order from Designer, Installers, Project Coordinators and Project Managers, i.e., order clarification.
Soliciting status information from support staff and providing status to customer and Account Executive upon request.
Miscellaneous activities to include: coordinating demo product, obtaining samples for customers, checking on COM’s, researching ancillary product for customer solutions and handling any walk-in customers.
Managing work activities against tight deadlines and departmental priorities while showing the agility to adjust to changes as needed to support the business and achieve company and the customers’ goals.
Contributing to process improvements by making suggestions and implementing changes.

Works effectively and proficiently with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook within a Windows 10 environment. Familiarity with Z-Axis and CAP a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.) from an accredited college or university or minimum of two years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience working in a similar position within business-to-business office furniture sales industry and has the business acumen for the overall office furniture industry and the company’s products and services, especially industry-specific solutions that can adapt to our customers’ unique needs.
