Corporate Director of Revenue Management

As the Corporate Director of Revenue management, you will be responsible for maintaining the transient room’s inventory for ten boutique hotel(s) and for maximizing transient revenue. In addition, the position oversees the inventory management system to verify appropriateness of agreed upon selling strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to include pickup, segmentation, and gap analysis.
  • Utilize all competitive and revenue related Corporate and Property support tools to increase RevPAR.
  • Ensure correct placement and rate positioning on all distribution channels.
  • Update of rates and selling restrictions in all distribution channels on a daily basis.
  • Conduct audit checks to ensure inventory controls and rate parity.
  • Be knowledgeable, and assist with the preparation of weekly 14-day and monthly 90-Day Forecasts.
  • Assist in collecting industry data regarding current trends that will help in forecasting and the budget process.
  • Be knowledgeable of all special rates and promotions and ensure proper dispatch to all relevant employees.
  • Assist in preparation of all documents for the weekly Revenue Meeting.
  • Attend weekly Revenue Meeting.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance by the Reservations team to any change in sales strategy.
  • Liaise with the Sales & Marketing Team to ensure efficient inventory and promotional rates across appropriate distribution channels.
  • Assist Finance Director and Ownership with group rate analysis.
  • Work in close collaboration with the reservation department to ensure proper allocation of room inventory, routing, and strict adherence to cut offs.
  • Also, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.

Required Education and Experience

  • A minimum of (5) years of Revenue Management Experience in hotels preferred.
  • A minimum of (3) years of front desk or reservations experience preferred.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent Organization skills.
  • Basic accounting and mathematical skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and to bend or to stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
