We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual with an established track record of managing testing activities on complex project remits with a background in IT to work in our custody application team.
As an QA Lead you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and control of all partner testing activities and tasks, as well as off cycle remits.
You will need to work closely with application Vendor QA resources, Development groups, Program Managers, Partner contacts, Operations and the Technical support teams.
You will lead complex partner and off cycle testing remits, leveraging SMEs, providing strong leadership and guidance to address business, partner or technical challenges.
The QA Lead will create communications for relevant audiences, switching communication style from a day to day detailed technical level to a senior management. They will be solely responsible for scheduling the tests for execution and then monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions
You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of partner implementations and testing processes, whilst ensuring a repeatable, documented, and auditable process is established and followed. You will ensure the quality of work is consistently high and the procedures efficiently written.
This is a challenging role in a fast growing environment where the candidate will be required to deliver results against a complex systems that are deployed globally across Citi and in continuous use across Global Markets.
The role will allow the candidate to develop their business and technical skills and in addition gain exposure to the many partner applications that our main Custody application communicates with. This role will also give the candidate the opportunity to grow to a partner test SME within the Technology department as well as building a strong working relationship with the vast number of partner contacts.
8-10 years previous experience of leading complex testing remits
Detailed knowledge of activity planning
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood status reporting and technical documentation.
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills in a matrix reporting environment
Track record of problem solving in a complex environment
Strong team player able to respond under pressure to many demands adhering to aggressive timescales
Accomplishes results through the management of professional teams
