Adminstrative Assistant

Job opportunity available for Administrative Assistant for a small family-owned construction business. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience supporting managers and workers within a company, have written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

PART TIME 2 -3 days per week 5hrs per day


  • General upkeep of QuickBooks data, including management of items list and income/expense accounts, etc.
  • Reconciliation of accounts in QuickBooks
  • General organization and management of office procedures
  • Research and implementation of new software (or other) solutions, as applicable
  • General troubleshooting and problem solving regarding office software
  • Other projects as assigned


  • 2+ years of Office or Administrative Assistant experience
  • High School and/or GED - BS/BA Degree preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Online
  • Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Able to work independently and willing to perform a variety of tasks
  • Internet research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Must be organized and possess verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate must be very reliable, organized and have an impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and make sound decisions

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 /hour


  • Administrative Assistant or with Quickbooks: 2 years (Preferred)
