*Sterilization Technician*
*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of our instruments and equipment to ensure the highest standards of infection control.
*Duties*
- Implement aseptic techniques to sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and guidelines
- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and order as needed
- Assist in organizing and preparing treatment rooms for procedures
- Fill in for clinical dental assistants occasionally, RDA preferred but willing to assist the candidate with obtaining a RDA License.
- Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to support efficient clinic operations
*Qualifications*
- Familiarity with dental terminology
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Understanding of anatomy and dental procedures
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred
- Certification in sterilization techniques or willingness to obtain certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
