Embassy Suites Springfield seeks a highly motivated, experienced hotel sales professional, to fill the position of Senior Sales Manager, Government Market.
In this position you will make outside sales calls, obtain key business accounts, conduct site tours, entertain clients and make prospecting telephone calls. You will be responsible for selling to the government market in both group sales and extended stay, growing revenue, maintaining relationships with existing accounts, uncovering new accounts and increasing market share. There are some administrative duties as well as constant communication with the Director of Sales and Marketing to include weekly revenue meetings, action plans and sales activity logs.

- Previous sales management experience in the hotel industry required
- Knowledge of the government market is a plus!
- Extended stay and/or full-service hotel experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals through individual efforts
- Experience using Hotel Sales Force Automation (SalesPro) a PLUS!
