GenCure , a subsidiary of BioBridge Global, applies advances in regenerative medicine to help heal patients suffering from trauma, disease or the aging process. Using processed tissue and cell-based therapies, GenCure works to connect needs with solutions. GenCure is both a direct supplier to healthcare providers and a partner with commercial and non-profit organizations providing regenerative medicine treatments to patients.
The scientist will provide research support to GenCure Research and Development team in molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, microscopy, and flow cytometry.

Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (including donors) through established feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
General lab maintenance to include but not limited to upkeep of chemical inventory and MSDS pages, manage supply inventory and keep within workable levels, perform routine cleaning to include glassware, incubators and other miscellaneous laboratory instruments and equipment.
Read and understand SOPs as they pertain to activities of the laboratory.
Perform protein isolation, purification and gel electrophoresis.
Quantify proteins of interest using immunoassays such as ELISA and multiplex immunoassays.
Perform DNA and RNA isolation and quantification; knowledge of miRNA analysis. Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR/qPCR.
Experience with flow cytometry. Isothermal amplification techniques. In situ cell-free protein expression.
Familiarity with microscopy techniques.
Maintain detailed records, both digital and hardcopy, of experimental protocols and results.

Requires a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university. The required major is Cellular Biology, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
Requires one or more years of mammalian cell culture experience.
Must maintain knowledge of and perform according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Requires basic lab skill knowledge (pipetting, dilutions, titrations, calculating doubling time, etc.).
Must have the skills to recognize unusual results and troubleshoot testing problems as soon as detected.
Must be capable of evaluating, interpreting and reporting accurate/valid test results by current testing methodologies.
Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
Must possess outstanding manual dexterity and be able to carry out aseptic work.
Must be able to correctly interpret test results.
Must be able to keep information confidential.
Must be able to set priorities based on urgency and use discretion and independent judgment.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must be able to work with interruptions, meet deadlines, and perform accurate work and/or reports.
Must be neat in appearance and well groomed.
Must be professional, detail oriented, self-motivated, innovative, creative, assertive, organized, communicative, and have the ability to work independently.
Works in a well-lighted air conditioned and heated laboratory/department. May be exposed to electrical, mechanical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to a laboratory environment. May be exposed to blood borne pathogens and other conditions common to a clinical laboratory environment. May have bodily exposure to refrigerator/freezer temperature, especially hands and face. Will work extended hours during peak periods. May be required to work any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required.
Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization.
Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Required to carry up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
