Brief Summary of Role

Silverline is looking for a highly motivated, performance-driven individual to play a key role in driving the growth of Silverline’s Managed Services offering, selling Salesforce.com services. A Client Services Sales Rep (CSSR) will be responsible for leading the deal cycle from lead generation and prospecting through proposal generation and deal closure for Silverline’s Client Services business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the sales cycle, including business development, lead identification, qualification, scope construction, proposal development, client presentations and contract negotiation
  • Conduct high level conversations with VP, Director and C-levels at targeted accounts, creating interest in Silverline Client Services offerings
  • Work with business development team to define and maintain a regular program of outbound campaigns, collaborating with Sales Leaders and Marketing team members to ensure seamless execution
  • Focus on tactics and processes that increase lead conversion opportunity close rates
  • Learn and understand business and technical requirements of clients in order to position the appropriate offering that drives business value and has a clear ROI
  • Establish and maintain relationships at all client levels, including C-suite
  • Work with Silverline Solution Sales Architects to provide prospects with compelling proposals ensuring clients’ specific needs are being addressed
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with customers to reach agreement and manage the negotiation process
  • Research and build account intelligence (e.g. adding contacts, sending emails, & cold calling) for target accounts, dormant and current customers
  • Understand competitive landscape and properly position Silverline's differentiators to win pursuits
  • Evangelize Silverline and cloud computing within target accounts
  • Track all activity, manage forecast and pipeline via marketing and sales automation tools such as Salesforce.com
Education and Required Experience (Requirements)

  • 3+ years of outbound sales/marketing experience
  • 3+ years of calling into Director, VP and C-level contacts
  • 3+ years of previous software sales & consulting sales experience (including prospecting)
  • Experience with the consultative sales approach in analyzing challenges of potential clients and conveying value to decision makers
  • Experience with sales of client services or staff augmentation in technology space
  • Self motivated and eager to learn new services, technologies and industries
  • Ability to use various sources of market and customer data to develop account intelligence, marketing strategies and harvest new contacts at Accounts
  • Demonstrate effective independent thinking
  • Ability to ask open ended questions and listen attentively
  • Proven relationship building skills and account interaction experience
  • Strong communication & writing skills with proposal development experience a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (courses with a Marketing element are preferred but not essential)
  • Marketing & sales automation skills (e.g. Salesforce.com, Marketo, Data.com, ZoomInfo)
  • Social Media skills (Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Facebook)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment with changing priorities
  • Must be highly motivated, tenacious, and a self starter
