We publish Charlottesville Wine & Country Weddings, Charlottesville Wine & Country Living, CharlottesvilleFamily Bloom, and Charlottesville Welcome Book. We distribute locally and even through the Mid-Atlantic with some titles and are expanding our Wine & Country brand to include a line of luxury entertaining products for sale at our retail shop and special events like a wine pairing class.

Professional Development: The editorial intern is an integral part of the team, and will have the opportunity to attend planning meetings as well as work on producing, fact-checking, and editing copy across media, including print, web, and social channels. An unpaid position, 15-20 hours per week during the school year, may be eligible for school credit, there are many opportunities for training and professional growth The intern will additionally have some responsibility for editorial content that pertains to calendars, advertiser guides, community news, etc. and will assist with photo shoots, reader promotions, distribution and general office duties that keep a publishing office humming. As we create several titles, there will be opportunities to practice how to write for different audiences and use a myriad of software from myemma and hootsuite to InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite). Because most of our titles are honorvend, we sell advertising. If interested, an intern can also get an overview of how that side of the business works as well as production.

Qualifications:
- In a related degree program, within 1-2 years of graduation
- Attention to detail
- Magazine style writing skills
- Proofreading experience
- Experience with social media
