Job Description
As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for creating customer demand for the Oscar Mayer Bacon business, putting you at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.
Brand Managers are leaders in our business. Your responsibilities will span across portfolio & forecast strategy, full P&L ownership for the Oscar Mayer Bacon brand, managing customer marketing initiatives, leading commercialization initiatives, and building plans to deliver on annual and longer-term financial goals. You’ll lead cross-functional teams of colleagues from category marketing, sales, finance, and operations. This position is best suited for someone who is has a strong bias for action, strong analytical skills, ownership mentality, and creative problem-solving skills. This person must be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve deadlines.
Key Components of the Role
Steer development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan for Oscar Mayer Bacon
Monitor business performance, identify actions needed, and implement action plan on key metrics (market share, volume and revenue trends and drivers, competitive performance).
Own the full Monthly Business Review & Performance Process including, but not limited to, developing and managing the driver-based business & forecast model and brand business hot topics.
Determine financial viability, operational feasibility, and strategic fit of brand activities.
Own the relationship with Sales to develop strategic customer programs & track execution of approved strategic plans.
Create compelling sales stories to drive growth and distribution on new and existing skus
Own program execution and advancement of near in commercialization across customer innovation, supply chain continuity, and value engineering.
Partner with Brand Communications and Omnishopper teams to bring brand strategy to life consistently at every consumer touchpoint
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills
Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment, strategy and tactical plan development
Experience in cross-functional team management
Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver on timelines
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in the local office, with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations
