We are currently accepting resumes for chiropractic assistants to provide services at Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Training (SMART) at Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC), Naval Aviation Technical Training Center (NATTC) Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL

7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday

No Federal Holidays

Responsibilities
Provide treatment for soft tissue damage, acute and chronic edema, post-surgical edema, muscle atrophy, pain, overuse injuries, decreased circulation and loss of strength due to injury or biomechanical imbalance.

Provide emergency first aid, evaluation and treatment of injuries, and aid in preliminary diagnosis to include recognition of severity of injury, rendering initial treatment and performing initial examination.

Prevent, recognize, treat and rehabilitate injuries.

Design and fabricate protective pads, equipment and braces for the prevention and treatment of injuries including the use of proper taping techniques.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.

Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited college or university and will be NATABOC certified. The contractor ATC will provide services within the scope of practice as defined by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA)
Possess and maintain a current Certification in Athletic Training through the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Board of Certification (BOC)
Two years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer after graduation.
