  • We are interviewing to hire experienced Outside/Energy Sales Representatives as Commercial Energy Brokers developing relationships with local business owners and executives in our Greater Houston, and surrounding areas. Do you have a current book of business?
  • Energy Umbrella, LLC's core has spent the last 5 years building supplier relationships, and now we have access to the top suppliers in the Nation. Shopping for energy can be a complex process. We help clients navigate through our complicated energy world and find the right product to fit their business needs by understanding the contracts and terms of each supplier, our experience allows us to offer the products that will best fit.
  • When pricing Energy Umbrella will send clients information to our over 20 different suppliers who offer service in their area and submit matrix pricing to us. Therefore we will find the right one for them. Our proprietary software allows us to compare each supplier’s price side by side to determine which price, term length, and contract language works best for our clients. The pricing will start coming back within minutes, this is where the real fun starts.
  • Energy Umbrella manages millions of kWh annually and we use this as leverage when pricing new accounts. Once all the pricing has been supplied to Energy Umbrella, we will then go back and forth with each supplier and drive down the cost. Our loyalty belongs to the client, not the supplier.
  • We work with all size customers which is important to note; considering most brokers only deal with large Commercial & Industrial customers. Energy Umbrella has the ability to save them money on their energy and provide them with the best overall price on all accounts, and in all markets.
  • We are creating "Rapid Expansion Strike Teams" here in Pennsylvania and "Remote Rapid Expansion Strike Teams" throughout the Deregulated States to go out into the field and drive sales, educate prospect clients on their options and save them money on their energy; when possible.

Work-related Experience:

Energy Sales Consultants do not own or distribute energy, we simply present the rates of wholesalers or suppliers. More experienced brokers offer a true consulting service.

You just simply need to have experience presenting electricity options to commercial businesses; business to business with a high payout.


  • Make a high volume of daily outbound sales calls to small and medium-sized business owners.
  • Communicate clearly and speak in a way the customer can understand
  • Initiate outbound consultative sales calls to specific established client accounts.
  • Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business: make introductory calls, qualifying and understanding needs, and close the deal.
  • Cultivate effective business relationships and communicate efficiently to find out the customer's energy savings requirements and to reduce energy consumption.
  • Follow up consistently with customers to ensure communication of market pricing changing daily and other initiatives that will create value
  • Target and contact key decision makers and develop positive relationships to secure new project opportunities, and sales volume.
  • Handle unpleasant customers and rejection
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the deregulated energy industry, structure, trends, and issues to ensure full discovery and understanding of customer’s primary business objectives and requirements.
