Monday - Friday; 1+ month position; paying $25.00/ per hour.
The Benefits Coordinator will be accountable for supporting the timely, accurate and quality administration of client's U.S. and Canadian benefits plans including health, life, disability, charity match, wellness and family friendly plans.
Proactively solve associate inquiries related to client benefit plans.
Respond to associate inquiries regarding benefits (phone,email and in-person)
Support the administration of client's Leave policies including Family Medical Leave, disability and work accommodations.
Research and rectify enrollment discrepancies with plan vendors, including review of benefit file error reports.
Reconcile/process monthly benefits invoices and partner with Finance as needed
Provide support for benefits administration in Workday.
1+ year relevant experience administering United States benefit plans in an employer environment, in consulting or with an insurance provider. Knowledge of Canadian benefits is a plus.
Fluency with Workday
High-level proficiency with Excel (e. g., v-lookups, pivot tables, if/then formulas).
Demonstrated ability to compile and analyze data using excel.
Experienced with high deductible health plans, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and income replacement plans, such as life and disability.
Experienced administering leave of absence policies including FMLA, short term/long term disability plans, state-mandated disability benefits, and work accommodations
Fluency with Workday, Oracle E-Business Suite benefits or other HR Benefit systems required.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Proven track record of collaborating with others to deliver fast, positive results.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build strong (sometimes remote) relationships.
Strong problem solving skills. Comfortable with uncertainty/ambiguity ability to analyze an issue, consider options and present a proposed solution.
Strong client focused work ethic demonstrating sensitivity, empathy, cultural awareness, integrity, fairness and good judgment and conflict resolution.
