Job Description
Overview
The Procurement Digital Transformation Project Manager that will be responsible for managing the successful implementation and integration of a Source to Contract (S2C - Sourcing, Contract, SLP and Spend Visibility) and Procure to Order (P2O) solution. The Project Manager’s role is to represent the procurement vision, drive the implementation provider, consultants and internal enterprise wide Kraft Heinz team through the digital transformation over the next year. The role will serve as the procurement subject matter expert (SMEs) as well as lead team of SMEs and consultants to scope, design, develop and implement new business processes & digital solutions that will transform the way Kraft Heinz does Procurement.
We are seeking an individual with specific experience with implementing S2C and P2O digital systems, including ongoing management, ongoing process improvement and administration of communication, training and change management of these initiatives. The individual must also have experience in Ariba implementations that include, but is not limited to, implementing Ariba catalogs, Ariba Supply Network (AN), Ariba Buying (P2O), and Source to Contract (S2C). This role is intended for someone with expertise in procurement sourcing as well as depth in the technical background of the procurement process that can strategically drive these initiatives, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and have a high level of expertise and accountability in this role.
Position Responsibilities
The role is a highly visible role that demands a proven expertise managing transformation with focus on agility and speed to value while maintaining high standards of internal customer service and overall engagement success.
This candidate must also have proven successful leadership experience. They will lead the Procurement Technical requirements and be the key liaison to a dynamic team of highly technical, experienced, subject matter experts responsible for executing the technical aspects of the Ariba S2C/P2O enhancements, Ariba Supplier Onboarding and Enablement, and other enablement projects. This leader will be accountable to drove the cross functionally team and other required resources to focus on completing objectives, completing projects, enabling customer success, and obtaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
By key liaison for Procurement with technical team by providing management and oversight to the implementation of the S2C and P2O system to ensure proper staffing to assigned projects. Set standards to meet or achieve utilization, capacity, and project goals.
Work with technical teams in continual improvement in process & efficiencies; define best practices and guidelines; provide leadership with regular project updates; serves as a critical advisor; set the direction for the technical services teams; drive internal customer satisfaction.
Serve as the technical escalation point for procurement.
Set strategic direction to achieve and/or exceed project goals.
Lead procurement team with technical teams to ensure team maintains control on project schedules, budgets, and risks. Proactively engage with teams to insure timely reporting, compliance to project schedule, and compliance to budget.
Identify project risks early and mitigate risk by providing prudent and timely recommendations for alternative courses of actions; communicate effectively with clients regarding project risks, set and manage client expectations on risk; create and execute project work plans; manage change controls.
Drive the success of design & implementing of:
supplier management and enablement on Ariba network for > 2000 supplier base
supplier analysis, spend management analysis, buying channel design & supplier categorization
client & supplier training / onboarding
Accountable for cohesively work with Procurement, IT, implementation third party, Ariba SE team, suppliers, and internal enterprise wide clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
Minimum 10 years’ experience including:
Project scoping (Flight plan for supplier enablement strategy)
Requirements analysis/definition/mapping
Solution and process design
Hands-on development of project deliverables - formal/structured methodology.
Multi project management experience (methodology & tools) / knowledge of a procurement shared service delivery model.
Preferred 3-5 years’ experience:
in Software Development, Software Networking, Software Implementation
of Agile Project Management experience, preferable software or mixed software/ hardware environment.
of experience managing technical teams that implement large complex enterprise IT solutions
Ariba to ECC or S/4 integration experience with or without CIG
Knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 HANA Procurement functionality
