Field Service Technician - Commercial Cooking Equipment
Job Description
Armstrong Repair Center is a local family-owned Houston, Tx based company that repairs commercial cooking, coffee, and ware washing equipment. We are currently seeking experienced technicians to work in Houston / Southeast Texas area. We are an authorized parts and service provider for most of the top manufacturers. We place excellence in quality service along with customer service as our top priority. Two years' experience working on commercial cooking equipment is desirable. Must have experience with electricity and gas, with steam as a plus. Must have own tools and a good driving record. A stipend is paid for the rotating call duty after hours. Must have ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check. We have a great benefits package and offer competitive pay. Our work hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Mon.-Fri.
This is a Full-Time position.

Commercial Cooking Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Must have experience with basic electrical and gas.
- Aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Knowledge of commercial cooking equipment.
- Technician must have own tools and a good driving record.
- Communicates directly with Dispatchers with information pertinent to each call.
- Maintains a professional relationship with customers at all times.
- Ensures that customer's needs are taken care of in a timely and consistent manner.
- Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Submits daily timesheets
- Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone.
- Good Attendance is a Must!
- Able to represent our company with professionalism and reliability of performance
- Stipend paid when performing "On/Call-Duty".
Commercial Cooking Service Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience and/or knowledge in the commercial cooking equipment repair industry, specifically as a service technician, would be a plus.
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment drug testing, physical, and criminal background check.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills.
