Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and specialized medical care to patients of all ages.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical best practices.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as necessary, ensuring accurate dosages and instructions.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and medications.
- Adhere to infection control standards to prevent the spread of diseases within the healthcare facility.
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Family practice or Internal Medicine.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience in health coaching and patient education.
- Proficiency in medical record documentation and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to perform {IV infusion} and {phlebotomize} procedures.
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) prescribing guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
