Fry's Electronics is seeking highly motivated individuals possessing excellent customer service skills to join our in-home Tech Team! Our Tech Team associates serve as a point of contact between the company and our customers, completing the shopping experience by performing in-home delivery and installation of audio/video & surveillance equipment and major appliances.
Installations may involve wire concealment of low voltage wiring, locating in-wall studs and pipes, use of step or extension ladders, and use of power hand tools. Installations can include in-wall and ceiling speakers for surround sound systems, visual security system with the setup of remote monitoring via a wired or wireless network, installation of television and television mounts, as well as installation of major appliances. Installations of appliances may involve connecting electrical cords, water hoses, water lines, dryer exhaust ducts and gas lines. Installations can include 2nd story levels and kitchen areas. Use of moving dollies and protective floor covering is required. Driving large Delivery trucks with lift gates for loading and unloading appliances and televisions may also be required.
Qualified candidates will:
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Multitask while upholding quality and integrity of work.
Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
With or without reasonable accommodation, must be able to lift or maneuver 75 pounds, and team lift up to 150 pounds.
Have the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends.
