Must have had Center Director Experience 2-4+ years minimum and successful managing a team of 30+ teachers and budgeting for and running operations of 145 children utilization successfully.

Kiddie Academy of Arlington Heights values passionate early childhood professionals and welcomes individuals whom are seeking administration to grow their career path. This individual must possess us with a wide-range of experiences in Early Childhood Classroom and Previous Center Director Responsibility. We are seeking that special education specialist whom is a positively minded role-model, knowledgeable in curriculum, and hands-on experience to help teach and train our young educators to join our Administrative Team!

Qualified candidates will be highly qualified early childhood educators who will oversee the implementation of the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials curriculum as a basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way. All candidates must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of age appropriate activities for young children. Management candidates will effectively operate and manage all aspects of an educational based child care school including human resources, customer and community relations, financial systems, quality control and overall facility management.

Applicants must have completed a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and required credit hours in Early Childhood.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementation & Compliance of all programing
  • Fully understand DCFS licensing and NAYCE Standards
  • Training of new hires as well as ongoing staff training
  • Building a positive & supportive staff infrastructure and reducing retention
  • Communication with parents, staff, and community
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Managing personnel, enrollment and marketing of school
  • Complying with licensing standards.
  • Supporting young children and their families
  • Commitment to quality early childhood care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to implement hands on curriculum.
  • Prior experience in a licensed facility.
  • Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation standards
  • Ability to adapt to high-paced environment.
  • Must possess DCFS Director Qualifications and understand DCFS regulations fully.
