ASRC Federal System Solutions supports the FAA NAS ESS (Federal Aviation Administration National Airspace System Engineering Support Services) contract. Join our growing team as an Business Intelligence/Reports and Database Developer in support of FAA’s National Air Space (NAS) Second Level Engineering (SLE) Compliance and Automation Team. The NAS SLE Compliance and Automation Team provides engineering and operational processes and tools for documentation, Safety Risk Management, and systems security for thousands of types of equipment throughout the NAS.
Responsibilities:
- Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments and plans the implementation of projects/programs under limited direction of a Technical Manager or more experienced engineer.
- May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a team leader for single or small work activities.
- Applies experience and advanced knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and concepts to accomplish assignments and to develop plans and techniques to improve programs and policies.
- Understands how his/her technical area interacts with or is affected by other disciplines and considers the objectives of external organizations when developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to diverse, complex problems.
- Defines, plans, and organizes assigned resources to accomplish organizational objectives.
- Allocates resources to accomplish small work-activities within established schedules.
- May act as a key technical point of contact for assigned activities.
- Contributes to the preparation of management/technical reports, and may be called upon to communicate the overall results of a project or work activity.
- Assignments may require solutions that are to be derived by interpreting and extrapolating from situations that were faced in the past.
- Provides recommendations to improve work processes.
- Provides guidance to lower-level contract staff to solve difficult technical issues.
- develops and recommends techniques to address problem situations.
- Work is reviewed periodically and at completion, for technical compliance and alignment with the requirements of the project or other work activity.

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.
- Oracle Analytics/OBIEE Server Administration Experience and Duties:
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle components such as WebLogic Server, Fusion Middleware, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), Oracle Business Intelligence & Oracle Analytics Server.
- User / Profile Management - Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- User authentication, authorization, encryption, and auditing to meet organizational policies.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for the OAS environment.
- Patch Management and Upgrades
- Oracle Analytics/OBIEE Developer Experience and Duties:
- Oracle analytics/OBIEE, reporting & dashboards development experience, particularly with OBIEE, OAS, OAC, Data Visualization and ETL tools such as Informatica & ODI.
- Experience in designing and executing ETL/ELT processes ensuring efficient data flow and integration.
- Experience in data modeling and repository (RPD) design within Oracle BI, enhancing data accessibility and reporting capabilities.
- Experience working with the Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Materialized Views, and analytical SQL.
- Team player and customer focused.
- Ability to track/manage large work tasks.
- Requires a minimum of 2 days in office per week.
- Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required).
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in a related work
- Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
