- Teaching Experience
The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in accounting; the typical course load is 12 credit hours per semester. Candidates are also expected to teach online classes as well traditional in-class instruction. Candidates are expected to contribute to student activities, student advising, participation in the university, departmental, and community service activities as well. Successful candidates must also have a demonstrated commitment to research and continuing scholarly growth. The Department of Business Administration at Mansfield University is ACBSP accredited; the successful applicant will also contribute to the necessary duties required for continued ACBSP accreditation.
MBA in Finance with CPA, with some United States university or college teaching experience.
Experience in teaching accounting classes at a United States university or college, a United States professional accounting certification, a current license to practice as a CPA.
Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to teach and evaluate students, the ability to support Mansfield University's mission and vision statements, and the ability to uphold Mansfield University's creed of Character, Scholarship, Culture and Service are also required.
