Here you’ll use your common sense, positive attitude and ambition to place good risks, create a pipeline of business and be a trusted advisor for FS expertise for wholesale and retail brokers throughout the Region.
What you’ll be doing:
Underwrite, price and negotiate quality risks consistent with the strategic guidelines for the FS product
Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with wholesale and retail brokers throughout the Region which will ensure the highest level of production
Engage with the national Financial Services team to learn and teach collaboratively
Maintain excellent customer service standards
Monitor product results and develop ideas to increase productivity and profitability
Regional travel required including industry events and broker visits

Financial Services insurance underwriting experience with strong relationships with wholesale and/or retail brokers preferred
B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University
Determination to succeed in a fast paced environment
Outgoing, driven, high attention to detail and results focused mentality
The ability to identify business needs
Strong understanding of basic sales principles, negotiation skills and demonstrate a competitive drive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
Innate service focus which enables one to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers and partners
