Overview:

American Heritage Textiles, a wholesale distributor of home décor and fashion textiles located in Shepherdsville, Ky is looking for an innovative Marketing / Brand Manager with experience in B2B and B2C marketing strategies.

Requirements:

Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field. Minimum five (5) years of marketing and product management experience (assessing market and branding needs, managing product life cycles, and targeted marketing campaigns). Must have previous experience managing a marketing department budget.

Must possess strong knowledge of:

  • brand management to maintain, improve and uphold the customer’s perception
  • marketing strategy development
  • research principles, methodology and analysis
  • business analysis to analyze current situations, understand the scope and opportunity of projects, and review promotion performance
  • customer segmentation to ensure that the right products and services are being marketed to consumers with the greatest sales potential
  • product development process to manage the packaging design process from initiation to completion for new private label products

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Innovation: Develop cutting edge Marketing approaches including guerilla marketing
  • Develop annual marketing plan in support of company business goals & budget
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop marketing plans
  • Measure and report performance of campaigns
  • Brainstorm new revenue growth strategies
  • Investigate and understand the needs of our customers through various means of research
  • Utilize appropriate resources for managing market segments, product attributes, and competitive information in a manner that can be consistently applied in the future
  • Develop tools and a methodology to ensure the proper questions are asked and answered with documentation in the product management process
  • Advance the methodology used to consistently evaluate how well AHT products (and competitor’s products) deliver on the attributes customers use to make purchase decisions and to allow for meaningful comparisons
  • Develop a format and methodology for capturing competitive information from the marketplace
  • Provide customers with artwork, graphics, copywriting and finished promotional materials
  • Write and distribute timely status reports that update management regarding all marketing and product management initiatives and activities
  • Oversee and furnish and design graphics, booths and promotional literature for tradeshow exhibits

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
