Position Summary:
Assist in evaluating existing internal control documentation, testing current processes and providing recommendations. In addition, the Internal Audit Intern will assist the Internal Audit Manager in administrative duties, observations, and inquiries.

The mission of the Internal Audit activity at Bridge Investment Group is to provide independent, reasonable objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve organizational operations.

The Internal Audit Intern is expected to constructively work with departments to improve internal controls across the organization.

Essential Functions:
Test the adequacy and effectiveness of policies and internal controls
Document business processes and controls in order to evaluate risks and compensating controls
Assist in assuring audit practices conform to department and professional standards
Recommend process and policy improvements
Assist in administrative duties assigned by the Internal Audit Manager
All other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:
Highly-organized with the ability to solve problems, organize systems, and establish procedures
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Including Word and Excel
Detail oriented with excellent office skills
Excellent organizational, communication (written/oral), and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and follow through on assignments
Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player
Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and maintain calm work environment with managers and co-workers

Skills and Abilities:
Working toward a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Experience is great but not required.
Operates in a professional office environment; routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
