Description of Work
The incumbent will be responsible for working under the direction of the executive assistant to provide support to the senior leadership team. Duties of the position will focus primarily on providing front desk support and assisting the Dean’s Office team with task and calendar support for senior leaders. The incumbent will fulfill varying, everyday administrative duties such as mail processing, greeting visitors and updating documents. The incumbent will also work in tandem with others in the office on tasks including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings for leadership, coordinating events and meetings (including minutes for various committee and council meetings), assisting with drafting and editing correspondence, formatting and proofreading documents, editing webpages (both content and design), and conducting online research. The position requires the incumbent be able to perform in this collaborative, fast-paced, high volume, high expectations environment with a high level of independence. Strong customer service experience is required.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Prefer:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Especially *Outlook and Word)
  • Familiar with web editing platforms (WordPress)
  • Extensive Customer Service experience
The individual in this position must have the capacity to perform in a fast-paced, high profile environment and have a high degree of comfort with meeting multiple, competing deadlines. The individual must also be highly organized, a team player, and have strong communication skills, with facility in verbal, written and graphic communications.
