Healthcare Resource Network is seeking a FT Athletic Trainer to work in support of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia NM.
Minimum Education Requirements/Certification/Licensure/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited university athletic training program
- Current license from the Licensure Board of Athletic Trainers for the state hired
- Current Board of Certification (BOC)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) training and possess current certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid driver’s license
Minimum Requirements/Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong understanding of sports injuries and treatment options
- Understanding of first-aid treatments, massage, and physical therapy techniques and equipment
- Assisting and monitoring injured clients as they heal and progress towards recovery
- Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to athletes’ needs
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Good driving record and excellent driving skills required
- Proven ability to collaborate, effectively communicate and work independently
Physical Demands
- Sustain repetitive movement (CPR compressions, etc.)
- Maintain physical tolerance (stand/walk/work on your feet for 8-12 hours at a time)
- Push, pull, lift 35 pounds of weight (position, transfer, ambulate patient, move equipment)
- Possible lifting, bending, walking, kneeling, stretching, and stopping. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to allow for suture or staple removal.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
