Inova's Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Services Program (CATS Program) is a regional leader, providing the highest quality of addiction treatment services for adults, with inpatient and outpatient levels of care. We offer a series of structured programs that provide effective, compassionate treatment for individuals dealing with all forms of chemical dependency. These include addiction to alcohol, prescription drugs, heroin, cocaine and other drugs.
Join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of therapists, counselors, nurses and physicians to provide a range of therapeutic services, psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions to patients facing co-occurring substance use and mental health issues. Provide group therapy and case management to adult patients in a fast-paced, team environment.
Our Inova CATS Program is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Program Therapist 2 to support a Dual Diagnosis IOP group addressing addiction and mental health Some of the duties include:
Provide a range of therapeutic services, psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions to assist the client in achieving progress towards the goals and objectives of the individualized service plan.
Provides case management.
Provides documentation and performs administrative functions appropriate to clinical role.
Adheres to Inova's Culture of Safety.
Participates in maintaining a Professional Culture in Inova Behavioral Health.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 1:00-9:30, Tuesdays and Fridays: Flexible.
2 years in addiction treatment/ mental health treatment.
5 years in addiction treatment/ mental health treatment.
For the Kellar Center, must have experience with working with children and families.
Master's Degree or PhD in mental health, social sciences, or behavioral health related field
Completion of a graduate courses in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical or Psychology Counseling, and Substance Abuse Counseling
Licensed in the Common Wealth of Virginia (Must have one of the following)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC),
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT),
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)
- Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSAP)
- Eligible for certification within one year as appropriate specialty, if any.
- BLS obtained in 3 Months
- CPI obtained in 6 months.
