Position Overview (Remote)
We’re hiring a Marketing Director to play a critical role in developing and executing Zupp’s growth initiatives in our existing markets, while also leading our go-to market strategies as we launch new markets across the country next year. This position will have a strong emphasis on brand storytelling and content marketing channels such as paid ads and organic social media, as well as experimenting with new channels such as influencer marketing and campus-level partnerships.

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic marketing meetings and provide expertise in social media strategy and effective ways to drive subscriber growth
- Develop Zupp’s brand story and messaging in a way that effectively resonates with the college student demographic
- Build and clarify customer personas to effectively speak to the right audience with the right message in a way that drives results in content campaigns
- Create and lead a social media plan on a semesterly basis that reflects the brand’s values and drives organic growth and engagement
- Oversee campus-level social media interns in posting content about Zupp across all social platforms in creative and cost-effective ways
- Execute and scale paid ad campaigns on Instagram and TikTok, including A/B testing, creative rotation, budget and week-to-week optimizations
- Maintain consistency across all channels and ensure that our communication is clear and messaging is compelling, reflecting the overall brand identity
- Get creative to develop new proprietary marketing channels, including things that don't scale
- Work with design partners to ensure content is delivered on time and created in alignment with brand guidelines
- Experiment with student organization partnership strategies
- Share ideas and insights with our product team on viral growth initiatives such as referral marketing campaigns, invite codes, etc.
- Develop go-to-market marketing playbook for new campus launches
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to set and achieve goals, measure and analyze performance, and report marketing results and insights to the team on a weekly basis
- As we scale, help hire and build out your marketing functions
- Location is flexible across the US. We are remote first and get together several times a year as a team. Most of our HQ team lives in Florida, and we operate on EST office hours.

- 0.25% – 0.75% Equity
