Our client has a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Capital Engineering Manager with automation and packaging machines. As the Senior Capital Engineering Manager, you will be working with R&D bringing new products into production and market. He or she will be responsible for designing, purchasing, and installing machines and equipment. The Senior Capital Engineer will have extensive experience managing large scale capital projects from conception through completion.
The Senior Capital Engineering Manager must be experienced with managing very large capital projects. Projects will be focused upon new products being brought to market. The Senior Capital Engineer must have extensive experience working with R&D, Finance, Manufacturing, and Marketing bringing new products to market. He or she will be the person in charge of all capital projects with a focus upon automation and packaging in order for successful NPI. The Capital Engineering Manager will be responsible for cradle to completion projects for high-speed packaging automation for new products. You will be managing all stages to include budget, vendors, contractors, indirect reports, lay-out, purchasing, construction and utilities, and government.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience leading major capital engineering projects
Experience with high-speed automation, packaging, food and beverage
Ability to travel 50-70%
