SUMMARY
Performs routine manual labor involved in landscape and yard maintenance under supervision of the Landscape Manager and Landscape Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The safe and skilled operation of small battery equipment: Hand Tools, Blowers, Rotary Mowers, and String Trimmers
- Installation and maintenance of plant material.
- Ensures that at the end of the day the equipment and hand tools are thoroughly cleaned and then stored in its proper location.
- Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and hand tools.
- Required to wear supplied safety equipment as required: Safety Glasses, Earplugs, Back Support, etc.
- Reports equipment problems or failures to the supervisor immediately.
- Able to effectively handle multiple tasks
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
- Supports and adheres to the CORE Values (ie. “The T.R.I.P.”) Service Fundamentals, and Guest Service Philosophy as defined by the Company.
- Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Landscape Manager.

The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily outdoor shifts in all weather conditions from extreme heat to extreme cold.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will lift/carry 25 pounds frequently and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
