The Hill-Rom Acute Care Disposable Sales Executive is responsible for selling and implementing two new Hill-Rom product lines in the acute care and MedSurg environment. The role encompasses all aspects of developing sales for (1) the WatchCare Incontinence Detection Solution and (2) the EarlySense Continuous Monitoring Solution. Both systems are incorporated into Hill-Rom’s Acute Care and MedSurg bed offerings. The role incorporates all aspects of the sales process for both solutions including but not limitied to: lead generation, sales development, implementation, product training, post-sale healthcare economics programs to support, defend and grow the disposable sale components of both solutions. of the WatchCare system. Additionally, the Acute Care Disposable Sales Executive is responsible to work collaboratively with internal partners, especially PSS AE’s and SCM’s to develop and support any and all local sales opportunities.

Identify, qualify and sell WatchCare and EarlySense into installed base of Versacare and Progressa bed fleets in the territory
Organize meetings with key stakeholders in targeted facilities: WOCN nurses, CNO’s, Directors of Quality, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Purchasing/Supply Chain/Materials Management and other stakeholders vital to a facility decision to purchase WatchCare and Earlysense
Coordinate and Drive Early Adoption Sales Opportunities as identified by New Business Acclerator and PSS Salesteams.
Explore and close new business opportunities
Conduct WatchCare and EarlySense clinical sales calls pursuant to the Hill-Rom New Business Accelerator sales training methodology, adjusting sales messaging to appropriate audiences.
Effectively utilize and coordinate internal/external resources to achieve sales and territory goal
Complete company reports, plans and projects in accordance with company standards and expected deadlines
Conduct effective and ongoing communications with all Hill Rom internal and external customers
Understand and comply with company and regulatory/compliance policies and procedures
Stay within company budget guidelines with business expenses
Complete other duties as assigned


B.S./B.A. or equivalent related work experience required
2-5 years demonstrated experience as a top level sales performer, preferably selling premium priced disposable products or other “concept” sales within the medical device or healthcare industry
Outstanding presentation, organizational, selling and relationship development skills
Demonstrated clinical and “new concept” selling skills (strategy development and execution); medical disposable sales experience required
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Outstanding planning and organization skills
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and computer aptitude
Conversant w/
Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to field sales
Ability to travel as needed nationally based upon prioritization of WatchCare sales opportunities
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 lbs
Clinical experience in a Medsurg or ICU environment a plus
