POSITION DESCRIPTION

The In-House Teleservices Agent is responsible for booking tours for current guests staying on site. Agents will call the guests in the units to book tours for them once they are in house. The agent is also responsible for assisting in-house guests by providing vacation planning guidance that exceeds our guests and owners expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Responsible for producing qualified tours to our sales team and expected to meet all minimum performance standards. Complete knowledge of area/resort information and directions.
  • Must maintain the utmost integrity while dealing with our owners and guests. Must maintain constant communication with the Manager of Resort Guest Services and Director of Sales for all exceptions and incidents.
  • Professional solicits prospects over the phone to tour with our sales consultants.
  • Ensure “world class” guest satisfaction for all internal as well as external guests.
  • Support and uphold the mission statement provided by Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resorts.
  • Support and uphold the visions and philosophies of the Sales & Marketing Departments at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resorts.
  • Adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures established by Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resorts.
  • Exceed the budgeted tour requirements for Owner, RCI and Renter prospects.
  • Ensure the guest satisfaction standards are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Any additional responsibilities that may become evident during the course of the operation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
  • Customer services and/or hospitality experience preferred. Bilingual a plus.

  • Dependable and goal oriented.

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of timeshare practices including assisting owners, RCI guests and renters.

  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and oral communications skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, sit; use hands and finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to drive to and from locations throughout the Myrtle Beach area. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, and ability to adjust focus. WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to noise and fluctuations in temperature. The noise level in the work environment may exceed the moderate threshold. The In House Marketing Representative will be involved in cash and credit card transactions, telephone communication and face-to-face customer service. The In House Marketing Representative must be flexible to adapt to immediate changing situations and environments based on team and guest needs

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS

MUST be flexible as needed for business operations, including weekends and holidays. Schedule/shift may vary based on business needs.

Pay: Amazing Compensation Plan with Unlimited earning potential from $45,000 to $95,000.
