Position Summary:Develops the analysis plan for assigned product spend categories, from need identification through contract execution. This includes spend analysis, financial modeling, direct negotiations, legal collaboration and contract integration with electronic units. This position is the key to achieving best practices in the healthcare supply chain management. Works with the sourcing team, supply chain and internal stakeholders to plan and source agreed upon goods and services in consideration of their total cost of acquisition and the financial and other impact to LifeBridge Health. Responsible for the review, analysis and administration of local and group purchasing organization (GPO) contracts for assigned spend categories. Conducts timely and strategic sourcing projects improving quality and significantly lower total costs of acquiring products and services within assigned commodity categories. Proactively assists order fulfillment and other supply chain team members to ensure customer needs are met.
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Expertise in the strategic practices and innovations in the strategic sourcing process covering procure-to-pay; purchasing, supply chain management. Experience of 3-5 years.
