We currently have an opening for a Financial Analyst in our Beaverton, OR location. This role provides the opportunity to be a key member of the Tektronix finance team and to develop within a growing organization through challenging assignments in a team environment. The Financial Analyst will be pivotal to organizational continuous improvement, and will demonstrate a proven ability to collect and distill complex financial information into clear and actionable management-level reports and presentations. Financial activities include financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
As an early career Finance Analyst at Tektronix, your activities could include analyzing new product investment, product pricing, product phase out, competitor analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, and monthly reporting and analysis. A successful Business Partner will leverage knowledge of customers, markets, products, business models, value drivers and stakeholder expectations and identify critical business issues, innovate simple solutions and implement efficiently. Finance analysts drive process improvements and lead cross-organizational finance teams on global initiatives. They also utilize global integration and virtual organizations to develop and accomplish shared goals. Each Finance Analyst will leverage the investment in systems, tools and processes and provide effective framework for reliable business practices and internal controls.
Weekly and monthly financial management reporting, including variance analysis
Monthly forecasting and yearly planning at both detail and summary levels
Perform ad hoc analysis for strategic and operational initiatives as needed
Partner proactively with key internal customers to help manage headcount and cost center expenses
Develop reporting and analysis tools that drive process improvement and reduction in waste
The position requires minimal international and domestic travel.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
0-3 years’ relevant experience
Motivated and driven with high degree of professionalism
Works effectively within a team environment
Growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in electronics manufacturing industry preferred.
