Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sterilization Equipment Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing sterilization equipment services; which includes preventive maintenance, repair services, and installation services.
These services are provided on a variety of different Manufacturer's equipment. We are factory authorized service providers for multiple sterilization equipment manufacturers. We are based in Salt Lake City, UT. 90% of our sterilization equipment services are provided within the state of Utah.
Our customers are in the healthcare and scientific laboratory fields. These customers include hospitals; surgery centers, and clinical, research, manufacturing, and university laboratories.
This position requires expertise in electrical/control systems, mechanical knowledge, plumbing knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair sterilization equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled, routine preventive maintenance (PM) services (calibrations, adjustments, lubrications, PM parts replacements, valve rebuilds, etc.) and inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and plumbing issues issues using schematics, piping diagrams, service manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Conduct repair and corrective maintenance services.
- Provide equipment installation services in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's guidelines
- Accurately complete inspection, service, and regulatory documentation.
- Conduct customer interactions explaining services performed and proper equipment operation
- Meet the physical requirements of the job including standing, bending, walking, climbing ladders, and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or greater
- Have a clean driving record
Experience
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of sterilization equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and piping diagrams, and service manuals
- Mechanical, electrical and plumbing aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing sterilization equipment
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to be flexible with schedule due to real-time changes of Customer's needs

Pay: $72,800.00 - $108,160.00 per year
