Contract Duration: 6 months
Purpose & Objective of Position
The team in Alpharetta builds and manages cloud services for use by SAP customers. Starting with the design phase through to production deployment and then monitoring and management of the systems. As an intern on the team, you will participate in the daily functions performed by the team.
Expectations & Tasks
You will be responsible for performing all facets of software development, testing and deployment of services made available on the SAP Cloud. You will be working as a member of a feature team using agile development methodologies. Initially, work will be conducted under the guidance of more senior team member. Over time, you will be expected to take on individual tasks as you become more experienced with team processes.
Skills / Competencies
Experience with the Linux or Windows operating system.
Experience with iOS and/or Android is a plus.
Experience in troubleshooting hardware or software.
Experience programming in Java or C++ preferred.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Student must be available for at least two semesters. The initial semester is a minimum of 30 hours per week. Subsequent term hours are flexible based on student’s class schedule.
Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Related work experience or coursework.
