IT Business Analyst Assistant

UCF Global is seeking an IT Business Analyst Assistant responsible for
analyzing and assisting on the implementation of business process
improvements, leveraging technology and industry best practices, while
supporting the implementation of new services and projects at UCF Global in
support of the internationalization goals of the university. This position will
support the business development, customer service, administrative
functions, and key international programs at UCF Global.

Assist with analyzing, planning, executing, and monitoring business process improvement initiatives and leveraging technology resources in support of the internationalization goals of the university.
Assist with building business proposals and statements of work related to international projects, including scope statements, activity schedules, and cost estimates.
Assist with analyzing, planning, executing, and monitoring technical and administrative projects for the division. These projects include functions and services such as study abroad, immigration compliance, English language programs, Latin American special programs, etc.
Assist with identifying opportunities for business processes, customer service, and efficiency improvements. Propose improvement areas that would provide the most positive impact towards the internationalization goals of the university and strategic goals of UCF Global.
Recommend continual business process improvement strategies and best practices aligned with the university and industry to provide scalable and high-quality services.
Assist with building Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), retrieve reports to monitor progress on KPIs, prepare and present trend analysis and predictions, and provide improvement proposals.
Assist in preparing specifications, testing, documenting computer applications, and training employees on the adoption of new business practices and services.
Attend necessary training/workshops.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.

Additional Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

Formal education on project management and/or business management.

Experience mapping business processes and implementing improvements.

Experience with creating project management plans, tasks lists, and

Familiar with analyzing performance reports and identifying areas of

Familiar with building business proposals.

Familiar with Student Information Systems such as PeopleSoft Campus

Familiar with Higher Education student lifecycle processes, including
admissions, enrollment, retention, and graduation.

Familiar with international student and scholar processes.

Familiar with international student and employment processes.

Familiar with international taxation processes.
