Wright Tree Service is currently seeking a Safety Supervisor to join our team! The ideal candidate needs to be willing to travel throughout the State of Texas.

Job Responsibilities

Travel around throughout the state of Texas and implement all company and division safety programs
Take a management role in operations communication regarding claims and necessary training relating to claims history
Communicate and comply with all written Wright Tree Service Safety manuals and materials, included but not limited to the Foreman s Manual and Employee Handbook
Engage with workforce by making regular crew visits
Provide training and oversight to General Foreman positions
Put on new hire orientation training and other field level trainings as required
Present on safety related topics to management and utility customers
Able to demonstrate modern climbing and rigging techniques in the field
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements

3 years safety management experience, specific to vegetation management or five years in Arboricultural field operations.
Bachelor Degree in Safety Management, Environmental, Forestry, Risk Management and or Health & Safety or related field preferred but not required
ISA Certified Arborist Utility Specialist
TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional (CTSP)
Knowledge of all applicable safety rules and regulations – OSHA, DOT, ANSI
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations relating to Utility Vegetation Management (UVM)
Knowledge of Herbicides and their application as it related to UVM
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and motivational skills
Outstanding attention to detail and observation abilities
Able and willing to travel
Participation in industry organizations and governing bodies relating to UVM
Bilingual in Spanish
