About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Controller will be responsible for all aspects of accounting operations as well as manage and develop staff. As a key member of the G&A function, the Controller will interact with all levels of the organization.

You'll do…

  • Build and manage all facets of the Company's accounting function, including: all general ledger activities, accounts payable and procurement cycle, payroll cycle, stock-based compensation, capital purchases, consolidations in compliance with GAAP
  • Develop and enforce proper accounting policies, processes, and procedures for Integral.
  • Manage various processes leading to the monthly close, ensure that reliable financial information is available for key decision making and financial statement preparation; prepare weekly and monthly reports for the executive team, investors and lenders
  • Lead annual financial audit from planning through final deliverables; Manage tax return filing process;
  • Maintain documentation of internal control narratives of financial processes and participate in continuous process improvement
  • Perform technical accounting research, including the documentation and communication of accounting implications. Key participant in the evaluation, documentation, communication and implementation of new accounting pronouncements impacting the Company. This will include the preparation of written memos to support the company's accounting position under US GAAP accounting guidance.

  • Hire, train, and develop a world class financial organization
  • Complete ad-hoc projects based as assigned by Vice President of Finance

You Bring…

  • 5-8+ years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting and systems
  • CPA required with previous experience in a large regional or national accounting firm
  • Commitment to building best-in-class accounting practices and controls for a rapidly growing new venture.
  • Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interaction/communication
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance;
  • LLC corp. accounting experience and technical accounting expertise a strong plus
  • Biopharma, IPO or SEC/SOX experience a plus
  • Experience in accounting system implementation a plus (Netsuite, QuickBooks/Bill.com)
