The Air Vehicle (A/V) Sub-Systems Engineer position is required to manage all the design aspects relative to sub-systems: ECS, hydraulic, landing gear, electrical, fuel and crew escape. It is required to be in alignment with the AV IPT Leader and the Chief Engineer and all the other Air Vehicle IPT Engineers. It is required to interface with the Customer within the PMO environment.

Job Title: Air Vehicle Sub-Systems Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides technical management on all design aspects relative to the A/V subsystems integrating with the IPT Engineers.
Reviews customer specifications and requirements. Leads all A/V sub-systems design aspects.
Solves technical problems and provides effective solutions.
Prepares and presents status and briefings to A/V IPT and when required to the customer.
Ensures that the technical and schedules relative to A/V sub-systems requirements are met.
Solves complex technical problems and provides effective and innovative solutions.
Masters Degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 7-10 years combined experience in Aerospace Engineering, specifically in fluid dynamics systems.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in engineering requirements management to include development, derivation, validation and verification of sub-systems requirements.
Exhibit broad experience with Aircraft sub-systems design, development, integration and test programs.
Experience in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Requires professional written and verbal communication skills including briefings and presentations to leadership and customers.
Strong interpersonal skills in order to collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership as part of an international team.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Must possess a current active Secret Clearance or above.
Proven analytical and quality improvement ability
Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
