Sales Lead (Nights/Weekends)

Position Summary: To help the Management team respond to and execute specialized operational support to Inbound Sales Reps' inquiries in a manner that meets or exceeds company expectations for courtesy, sense of urgency, understanding of issues, and accuracy of responses. Assist Management with projects and statistical information to drive performance results and support the current business objectives. Partner with Sales Leadership Team, Learning and Development, and HR to train, coach, and develop new and existing Sales Representatives. At the same time as helping with management duties, you will actually spend over half your time making sales and earning extra commission too!
The essential functions, duties and accountabilities:

Impacting sales through both your individual sales and holding a team accountable.

Ability to set expectations to Inbound Sales Representatives on proper procedures including quality on calls in the best interest of the customers and Stauer.

Serve as first point of contact for escalated calls and serve as a resource person to the sales staff.

Assist in the training, coaching, and development of sales representatives on: proper call handling, computer systems, phone procedures, sales techniques, communication skills, product information, and other duties as needed.

Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers.

Be at work in a prompt and reliable manner.

Collaborate with Leadership Team to oversee KPIs and other performance metrics.

Act as liaison representative and provide assistance between Inbound Sales and all Stauer departments. Respond with a high sense of urgency, reliability and accuracy by investigating appropriate resources to answer questions and resolve issues.

Assist Inbound Sales Management staff as needed with various duties as assigned.

Coach, mentor, and develop new and existing sales reps

Partner with Sales Management and Learning and Development Team to successfully onboard, coach, train, and develop new or existing sales reps

Keep management informed of issues and raises awareness of potential issues affecting client, internal/external customer satisfaction with Stauer. (Accountable to: All departments)

Earn commission by mastering our sales process
Experience/Skills:
-
3+ years of inside sales experience
-
2+ years of experience coaching/mentoring sales reps
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Excellent PC/keyboard/data entry skills.
-
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook to learn and apply data base queries.

Proven success in interpersonal relations with coworkers, customers and clients in a customer focused environment.

Good problem solving skills and ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.

Patience and excellent listening skills.
