Are you detail-oriented with experience in logistics and warehouse operations? Allen Flavors, Inc. is currently seeking dedicated Picker Checkers to join our South Plainfield warehouses. As an integral part of our Logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate documentation, picking, and shipment of all products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Order Preparation: Shrink-wrap and stage each order according to company standards to prepare for outbound shipments.

Material Gathering: Physically gather all materials needed for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Documentation: Record each lot number shipped and/or each date of manufacture of each product shipped, maintaining accurate records.

Loading: Load all outbound trailers in adherence to company policy using a forklift, ensuring safe and efficient loading practices.

Quality Checks: Double-check all inbound and outbound transfers of materials, including recorded lot numbers, physical quantities, and labeling of finished products.

Cleanliness and Organization: Double-check all inbound trailers for cleanliness and support Shipping and Receiving operations as needed.

Compliance: Understand and implement Company Certified programs such as HACCP, SQF, Food Defense, and Safety programs as required.

Additional Duties: Undertake other duties as assigned by Management to support operational objectives.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:

Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, and GMPs.

Forklift Certified.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Demonstrated personal initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.

Ability to work under limited supervision and handle multiple assignments with limited time constraints.

Ability to manage cross-functional project teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Computer literacy: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Commitment to maintaining a clean work area and organizing finished products.

Experience with cycle counting and adherence to safety protocols.
