Under General Supervision, organizes, prepares and conducts training and educational programs to Baptist Health Medical Group physicians and other personnel on multiple Epic Ambulatory EHR applications and/or OnBase. This includes initial and on-going support training and mentoring. Maintains records of training activities, employee progress and program effectiveness. Responsibility includes coordination with the Instructional Designer, Ambulatory IT Team, practice locations and all other internal resources required to accomplish setup, upgrades, and ongoing training. Provides highly responsive support to end-users. Utilizes moderate reasoning ability to research and resolve issues related to Epic and third party applications being used in the BHMG practices. Must successfully complete the Epic Credentialed Trainer program. Role requires routine visits to practice locations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, healthcare related field preferred.
2 years experience in physician practice operations to include use of an EHR or 2 years experience teaching end users in a classroom or one-one environment.
Epic Care Ambulatory, Beacon and Cadence/Prelude experience preferred
