As a Sales manager, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management.

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Sales teams develop relationships to understand our customers’ business goals and models and provide the best Google advertising solutions to drive business success. As a Manager, you'll enable your team to exceed strategic goals, assisting them in managing portfolios of diverse businesses at various stages. As such, you'll set the vision for how your team understands and transforms their customers and the business.

In this role, you will work to drive market-level impact and acceleration, collaborating with other teams across Marketing, Apps, Scaled, Agency, and Large Customer Sales on programs and exchanges that drive customer success in the region. Additionally, you will represent Canada globally in our partnership with Strategic Operations on program feedback, evolution, and in-market pilots.

Responsibilities
Manage and coach teams of account managers and account executives to deliver excellent performance; develop their digital marketing expertise and build productive client partnerships. Provide supportive and honest career evaluations; facilitate professional development plans.
Lead and actively engage in client relationships, pitches, and strategies.
Identify process improvement areas and solutions and share best practices across both Mid-Market and broader team.
Deliver against targets and activity for our clients' book of business, analyzing data, pipeline, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers.
Develop, execute and coach sales strategies that are tied to customer business models including E-commerce, Lead Generation, CPG and Multichannel.
