Essence of the role : The Senior Digital Media Strategist is an in-house client-facing role and will work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with other marketers, designers, project managers and programmers. You will be responsible for developing, executing and managing paid digital marketing campaigns across multiple vertical markets to achieve exceptional ROI for our clients. This position requires advanced experienced with researching, coordinating, developing, executing, and monitoring paid media campaigns.

You will be responsible for:
Accurately develop, implement and manage successful paid search and paid social media campaigns, demonstrating revenue/lead goals, efficiency and volume to ensure high profitability. This will include:

Continually evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns and offer recommendations based on evaluations to improve the campaigns Employing advanced search marketing techniques, such as mobile/location bid adjustments, multiple match type structure, Remarketing Lists for Search Ads, Dynamic Search Ads, etc. to achieve maximum ROI

Consulting on landing page optimizations and testing recommendations for campaigns

Monitoring competitive landscape and industry trends / constantly reviewing the marketplace for new digital media opportunities

Executing search marketing tactics including: bid management, keyword research/development, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking and reporting, testing, etc.

Daily monitoring and analyzing SEM performance trends and develop strategies based on the data

Creating and reviewing all SEM reports for their accuracy and effectively communicate strategies and performance trends in client communications

Assisting sales and marketing teams as needed to estimate budgets ad volumes for prospective client proposals
Presenting monthly SEM reports to our clients via phone and in-person and effectively communicate strategies and performance trends to develop strategies based on the data
Establishing and maintaining relationships with search engine networks and vendors through face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and presentations
Continually evaluate new opportunities for growth and expansion and develop POVs based on new findings
Auditing search and display efforts of potential clients and provide insight as to how ROI can be increased

Contributing to senior management communications, concerning digital marketing issues and initiatives

Education and Experience

2-3 years managing paid search campaigns
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related program or equivalent work experience
Experience with marketing campaign analytics
Experience with Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics and various advertising platforms
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
Have proven experience with developing new campaigns, executing and auditing established campaigns and provide recommendations and restructuring solutions to improve performance
Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data to drive marketing strategies and derive actionable insights from data
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external contacts. In-person presentation experience is preferred
Proven ability to work independently with limited direction
Excellent time-management skills, with a proven record of juggling priorities and meeting multiple deadlines. Proven performance in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
Proven experience managing paid social, display, or video campaigns is a plus
Google AdWords and Google Analytics certified; other related certification(s) is a plus
