The sought Capture Manager will be responsible for leadership of capture activities for ADS, Inc.'s targeted strategic opportunities and the acquisition of large federal contract awards critical to ADS, Inc.'s continued dynamic growth and business success. The accepted candidate will play a vital and influential role in expanding ADS, Inc.'s position within key Department of Defense (DoD), Federal, and Industrial markets.

Responsible for making cogent and timely decisions related to the opportunity, including getting the capture team resourced, determining strategies, teaming and partnering, and solution alternatives in order to support the Strategic Business Development team.
Responsible for stakeholder management and keeping the Business Leadership Team informed and engaged in all strategic capture initiatives.
Develops and presents regular capture management reports and briefings to ADS' executive leadership and relevant project team members.
Preparing for, organizing and leading the bid approval process and proposal development process.
Responsible for all aspects of the pursuit and proposal process, including the development of technical solutions, management solutions, and cost elements.
Works closely with functional departments (e.g., Contracts, Pricing, Finance, HR, etc.) to ensure an integrated approach.
Manages the development of the winning offering and solution sets, including price-to-win targets, schedule, technical, management, past performance, etc.
Oversees development of the Price-To-Win, based on in-depth knowledge of Competitor activity and Customer requirements/funding, within parameters of ADS' pricing policies.
Communicates win strategies as well as Customer and Competitor intelligence to all stakeholders, including teaming partners where applicable.
Develops and maintains the Capture Plan through completion of the opportunity pursuit.
Manages communications and relationships with partners and subcontractors, coordinates customer communications and relationships with Strategic Business Development team.
Determines staffing needs and priorities of Capture Team and leads the selection of reviewers for Team Reviews.
Assures quality of all relevant deliverables
Demonstrate the ability to successfully lead cross-functional Capture and Proposal teams without possessing direct reporting authority.
Demonstrates the ability to get results through self-initiative and to exercise sound business judgment in decision making and reporting to senior leadership.

Must possess 10+ years of relevant, highly successful Capture Management experience with a proven track record leading key strategic Defense and Federal Contract 'wins'.
Successful candidates will hold extensive experience managing all aspects of capture in a defense/federal sales life cycle environment, including lead and opportunity development, teaming strategies and negotiations, proposal planning, Price-to-Win assessment, as well as budgetary and operational management.
Absolutely must be a highly competitive, challenge-oriented "self-starter" with the will and desire to be the best at what you do.
Must be friendly and likeable – comfortable talking to and influencing "anyone" at all organizational tiers.
Must possess strong strategic and analytical skills required to analyze Capture strategy, customer problems, and contractual requirements in order to develop creative and effective solutions.
Must be utterly committed to providing legendary customer service – to include both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Must possess extensive expertise concerning Defense, Federal and Industrial contracts, FAR/DFAR regulations, competitive environment, procurement processes, et cetera.
Must possess a BA/BS degree within a relevant discipline – Relevant MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred.
