Our client is a growing Houston-based PEO (Professional Employer Organization) is seeking a Solutions Architect to work with internal technology specialists and clients to ensure they have the best possible HRIS, Systems and Process solutions.
The Solutions Architect works as a Senior Business Analyst, and is responsible a full range of activities to ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the business unit by designing and documenting workflow processes, identifying business trends, and making appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Works directly with internal departmental staff to understand project concepts, objectives and approaches.
Works directly with client contacts to understand project concepts and objectives and approaches.
Gathers requirements to produce statement of work and business requirement documentation.
Applies knowledge of technology to develop the best approach to meet project objectives.
Manages timelines and deliverables and due dates for assigned projects.
Sets expectations with client on deliverables and completion of projects.
Communicates with client and management on project status.
Takes assigned project from original concept through final implementation.
Develops and documents tests plans and strategies to insure quality.
Performs testing and provides documented results; including expected outcome and recommendations for change.
When appropriate, interprets government regulations and applicable codes to ensure compliance as related to assigned projects.
Identifies opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives.
Conducts user training on software, new functionality and operational procedures.
Works independently to manage work assignments and escalates issues as required to insure on timely delivery.
Acts as liaison between internal & external clients and the software development and support staff.
Manages incoming requests for assistance, including prioritizing and managing the clients expectations.
Tracks all work performed in CRM solution.
Maintain third party vendor relationships as assigned.
Escalates issues and involves management in situations and/or projects as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience & Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
Three years of experience working in a business analyst role or similar capacity.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous PEO experience is preferred.
Prior HRP/Prism & SaaSHR knowledge is a plus.
