The Grateful Dog, located at 1769 Lombard Street in San Francisco, currently has three positions now open: Assistant Manager, Dog Handler/Pet Sitter, and Bookkeeper: day-shift (opening and/or closing). We are all about providing a comfortable, safe, and sanitary work environment filled with love for our dogs as well as our staff. Job duties include (but are not limited to):

- Supervising/managing groups of dogs

- Interacting with clients in a positive and professional manner

- Light bookkeeping

- Sanitation procedures

- Walking dogs

- Answering phone calls and placing reservations

Requirements:

- Must be computer-literate

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk for up to 2 hours

- Physically able to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to be proactive in a fast-paced environment

- Available to work over nights, weekends and holidays

- At least 1 year of experience working with dogs

Strong Work Ethic:

- Comfortable cleaning up pee/poo/vomit

- Comfortable working in a loud environment

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic

- Must show up to work on time and be dependable
