Responsibilities
- As the Dental Office Administrator, you’ll manage the day-to-day administrative operations of our office, which include:
- Welcoming patients and gathering essential information, including insurance details, to ensure our records are accurate and current. Build strong relationships with patients, providing exceptional service across all areas of our practice.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and visitors, both in person and on the phone, assessing their needs and addressing them according to our standards.
- Manage patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments, cancellations, and no-shows, to maintain high satisfaction and efficient appointment flow.
- Coordinate schedules for dentists and hygienists, focusing on customer service and ensuring a fully booked schedule.
- Support daily administrative functions, such as opening and closing procedures, printing reports, insurance entries, pre-determinations, new patient calls, and database management.
- Oversee patient accounts, financial agreements, and follow-up as needed.
- Present treatment plans, payment options, and financial contracts to patients, ensuring clear understanding and facilitating payment arrangements.
- Utilize third-party applications to support scheduling, patient communication, and overall patient experience.
