This is an opportunity to build a client business from the ground up, working with one of the largest retailers in the US, and the majority of their top suppliers. This role, reporting to the Manager of Supplier Collaboration, is an integral part of the overall client facing team. The Consultant, CPG will build and develop strong relationships with our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic clients through deep shopper insights. The Consultant will scope, create and present analyses to our clients providing actionable recommendations and topline growth. These projects and insights can cover various business objectives in the areas of marketing, category management/ insights and sales for our clients. The successful candidate will become an indispensable partner for our CPGs and CVS Health.NOTE: This role will require some travel within the Greater Boston Area and surrounding areas to meet with clients and deliver in-person presentations.What you will do...
Manage your own portfolio of CPG clients and build best-in-class relationships grounded in deep insights and an understanding of their business
Work with the client to identify and prioritize their projects and proactively respond to business challenges that require analytics and insights. This includes a thorough understanding of transactional data, shopper metrics, and shopper loyalty analytics. Examples would include deep dives into assortment, promotional efficacy, brand loyalty, shopper behavior, and product innovation
Develop relationships with internal stakeholders at CVS Health primarily in merchandising and loyalty marketing
Work on ad hoc client deliverables with the Managers and Associate Director. These include client-specified needs, internal requests and broader client projects
Work closely alongside Precima Client Service Consultants on various merchandising projects engaging with CPGs and driving collaboration at CVS Health
Participate in special projects, such as white papers, development programs and client trainings/onsite
Work on client reporting needs, develop new analytic best practices, and innovative ways to showcase data
Become a subject matter expert in all Precima solutions offering external and internal opportunities for improvement
Who you are...Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Economics, Mathematics, etc.
2 - 4 years of related work experience in Category Management, Customer Insights, or Analytics with CPG, Retailer, Consulting, Analytics, Tech, or Finance firms
Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Previous experience with SaaS solutions preferred (84.51, dunnhumby, EYC, Aimia, Nielsen & IRi)
